Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Autogen, and old enough in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate sign-up information and keep it current.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Notify us promptly at vidhi.vchaudhary@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service, X, or any third-party provider we use (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, YouTube, Cloudinary, Typefully, etc.).
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or circumvent security or rate-limits of the Service or its underlying APIs.
• Use the Service to make decisions that have legal or significant effects on individuals (e.g. medical, legal, or financial advice) without independent human review.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the topics, prompts, and edits you submit, and of the threads you generate using the Service. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for what you publish to X.

5. AI-generated content

Autogen produces output using large language models. Output may be inaccurate, biased, or out of date. Review every thread before publishing it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of anything you post.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties listed in our Privacy Policy (LLM providers, Cloudinary, Typefully, TiDB Cloud, Google Cloud Run, etc.). Their terms apply when your data passes through them. We do not control and are not responsible for those services.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don't guarantee any uptime or that generations will succeed.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or liability for us or others.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autogen and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
